WHAT IS SSA?
SSA or Same Sex Attraction is a term that refers to the experience of a person who has romantic or sexual attractions to persons of their own gender. These can be occasional interruptions or dominate one’s sexual lifestyle. One may identify oneself as Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual or Heterosexual and experience SSA.
Unwanted SSA significantly impacts other areas of life. Many men who experience SSA are married and have a family. Fear of rejection by wives, parents, siblings, extended family, employers and co-workers, and peers don’t allow SSA feelings to be shared. Hidden SSA feelings can cause isolation, intense loneliness, hopelessness, depression, divorce, anxiety and other problems.
YOU ARE NOT ALONE! CHANGE IS POSSIBLE and we can help.
